:: Outotec Courier® 8 SL - Advanced Online Light Element Analyzer for Light & Heavy Elements

 

Based on years of research and experience, Outotec is launching a new analyzer in the highly successful and well proven Courier® family. The Outotec Courier® 8 SL analyzer answers the need for dependable online monitoring and process control of light elements in mineral slurry.

The Outotec Courier® 8 SL analyzer is designed for accurate and reliable on-stream measurements of elemental concentrations in slurries for up to 12 sample streams. The Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) technology is able to measure both light and heavy elements.

The Outotec Courier® 8 SL provides real-time test data to complement measurements from X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) analysis for monitoring and controlling the operations of mineral processing plants. The analyzer can measure the light element concentration in plant feed, tailings and concentrates. The analyzer allows the impurity content in the concentrate to be optimized while maintaining the best possible recovery.

Applications that can benefit from the real-time test data provided by the Outotec Courier® 8 SL analyzer include iron ore concentrates, pellet plants, serpentinized nickel ore concentrators, laterite nickel ore and zinc, sulfide gold and phosphate concentrators.
