SGS is very pleased to announce that its laboratory in Ankara, Turkey is officially recognized by the International Accreditation Service (IAS) for meeting the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for specific registered tests for the minerals industry. Conformance to ISO/IEC 17025 demonstrates technical competency for a defined scope of tests and the operation of a laboratory quality management system. The Ankara laboratory is strategically located to service the growing needs of the minerals industry in Turkey, Western Asia and Eastern Europe. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to provide unparalleled analytical services including AAS, ICP-AES, fire assay, BLEG, carbon and sulfur by LECO, classical titration and a full suite of wet chemistry methods for exploration, mine development and commercial trade.
