:: Intellection Welcomes Struers to Brisbane Headquarters

Struers has opened a new distribution office in Brisbane, as part of a strategic alliance between Brisbane based mineral analysis company Intellection Pty Ltd and Struers A/S to focus on international sales, promotion and support of the Struers and Intellection range of products.

A Struers division has been formed, within Intellection, to market and distribute Struers products in addition to after sales service throughout Australia and New Zealand. Benefits also include a fully equipped demonstration laboratory and the ability to hold large stocks of consumables for shorter delivery time to customers.

Newly appointed General Manager, Mr Esben Kristian Kjaer, has been with Struers for four years and heads the new division; supported by highly trained and experienced sales and service personnel. The team will focus on Struers materialographic products including Struers/Emcotest full range of hardness testing products. The Struers team will be fully operational as of 1 January 2006, however some staff are already in place to take inquiries and orders

The partnership allows Intellection to enhance and diversify its own sample presentation offering with system sales. This world-first coupling enables both parties to combine their research and development programs in the mineralogical segment of the market.
