:: Largest Slag Grinding Plants in China will be Supplied by Loesche

Shandong Laiwu Steel International Corporation has awarded Loesche GmbH a contract for a slag powder grinding plant with two of the world largest grinding units for Shandong Lubi Building Material Co., Ltd.

The contract comprise the supply of two Loesche mills type LM 56.3+3S with high efficiency Classifier type LSKS for a capacity of 160 t/h granulated blast furnace slag at a fineness of 4,500 cm2/g acc. to Blaine, some auxiliary equipment and the mechanical and electrical basic design for the grinding plant.

The decision for the Loesche mill has been made by Shandong Lubi Building Material Co., Ltd., a daughter company of Laigang Steel on the basis of the flexibility of the grinding system, unbeaten mill capacity and the high availability.

With a total no of 41 supplied slag mills worldwide Loesche is the market leader for this special vertical roller mill application.
