Sandvik Rock Processing has signed an agreement with JSC Sokolovsk-Sarbaisk Mining and Ore Concentration Production Association ("SSGPO") in Rudny, Northern Kazakhstan for 10 Merlin-VSI™ crushers. SSGPO is one of the larger Iron Ore mines in CIS, processing nearly 30 million tons of ore annually. The company produces about 13 million tons of iron concentrate per year, which is supplied to steel mills in Kazakhstan, Russia and China as concentrate and pellets. All crushers will be in place before the end of the year.
