:: Bradford Breakers Reduce Coal To Size While Removing Debris

Twelve sizes of Bradford Breakers are offered by Pennsylvania Crusher for cleaning of run-of-mine coal. Since this breaker employs gravity impact, the coal is broken along natural cleavage planes, resulting in properly sized material with a minimum of fines.

In addition to sizing the coal, the Bradford Breaker simultaneously removes any material that resists breakage such as rock, slate, tramp iron or timber. Such materials are retained within the breaker until ejected for disposal.

Pennsylvania manufactures this breaker using overlapping screen plates with high strength bolts and rigid structural beams. As a result, downtime is rare, and maintenance requirements are limited to lubrication and routine visual inspection.
