Millscan DSP2000 is an intelligent vibration-based instrumentation system that precisely determines and optimises the fill level of a ball mill. This is achieved by combining predictive neural network technology with sophisticated digital signal processing (DSP) techniques to analyse the mill's vibration spectrum. The new approach is analysed in the May 2004 issue of World Cement (pps. 99-101).
