Vancouver-based Consolidated Trillion Resources has entered into an exclusive agreement with South Africa's Goswell Developments to market and utilise the technologies that Goswell employs to recover aluminium from smelter dross. Goswell's plant in KwaZulu-Natal currently produces about 22 million pounds of aluminium ingot per annum from dross from smelters in South Africa and Mozambique, and ongoing expansions will increase this to 40 million pounds. In addition, the company is finalising the design of a process that will make the plant a 'zero-discharge' facility.
