The Porgera Joint Venture in Papua New Guinea has had its ups and downs in the past few years, but has gone from a mine being wound down to one with an extended life and renewed sense of value.

The operations, including flotation and cyanidation, are described in the November 2006 issue of Mining Magazine (pps. 10-13).
