:: JKMultiBal Launch In keeping with JKTech’s long history of producing award winning mineral processing software packages, JKTech is proud to announce the imminent release of its general purpose mass- balancing package, JKMultiBal. JKMultiBal is a powerful tool for the massbalancing of comminution and flotation circuits, and other areas of mineral processing plants. Two years in the making, JKMultiBal builds upon the strengths of existing packages such as JKMBal and JKSimFloat to produce a state of the art two dimensional (size-byassay) mass-balancing package. The mass-balancing program used by JKMultiBal is a robust program developed by Dr Stephen Gay and rigorously tested by JKTech Consulting staff using operating plant test cases. JKMultiBal is intended for users at all levels of experience. It has been designed for users who are inexperienced in both computing and the use of mineral processing plant analysis software tool. For more experienced users it offers advanced information for those who wish to customise their analysis in order to maximise the benefits of results. JKMultiBal has been designed primarily as a powerful aid for process engineers of any level. The major application for many users would be to carry out process analysis and optimisation of existing circuits, using the powerful 2-D capability to perform analyses on a size-by-assay basis. It will also be extremely useful for conducting conceptual design studies where the purpose is to assess the suitability of different flowsheets to achieve a desired performance objective.
