Being one of the world's leading analytical instrumentation companies, Bruker is strongly committed to further fully meet its customers’ needs as well as to continue to develop state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions for today's analytical questions of the minerals and mining industry.

Bruker's X-ray diffraction (XRD) portfolio covers a wide range of techniques for materials characterization and quality control of crystalline or non-crystalline minerals.

X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) is one of the best analytical techniques to perform elemental analysis in all kinds of samples, no matter if liquids, solids or loose powders must be analyzed.

Micro X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (Micro-XRF) provides highest spatial resolution in 2D with spot sizes down to 25 µm.

Micro computed tomography (X-ray Micro-CT) is X-ray imaging in 3D, by the same method used in hospital CT scans, but on a small scale with massively increased resolution. It really represents 3D microscopy, where very fine scale internal structure of objects is imaged non-destructively.
