Metso Minerals Process Technology - Asia Pacific (MMPTAP) is a group of highly motivated engineers who have extensive experience in process optimisation and process control in the areas of drill and blasting, comminution and flotation. The technologies include IsaMill - a revolutionary approach to grinding in the mineral processing industry. It allows minerals to be finely ground economically and reliably in large scale, mine site applications. Employing an intrinsically different grinding mechanism to conventional impact grinding, the IsaMill technology uses attrition grinding to selectively reduce particle sizes in an inert, high energy intensity environment. The result is a step change in process efficiency. The IsaMill significantly reduces energy requirement, media and capital costs while downstream performance is improved when compared to conventional grinding methods as a result of the narrow product size distribution and the inert grinding environment.

Jameson Cell - Jameson Cell flotation is a unique approach to the separation of minerals by flotation. It employs simple principles to generate intense flotation recovery using robust equipment and no moving parts. The Jameson Cell can process all minerals recovered by flotation with over 220 Jameson Cells now installed around the world. The technology is dominant for recovery of fine coal, with SX-EW and copper concentrate applications comprising other major installations.
