:: Golder Wins Multi-Mill Backfill Contract

Ground engineering and environmental services company, Golder Associates will supply a multi-million dollar paste and backfill production and distribution system to Minsur SA's San Rafael mine in Peru. The award follows a two-year pilot scheme, during which time it completed laboratory testing, field work and pre-feasability/ feasability studies. The project, estimated to be worth, US$10 million will be managed by Golder PasteTec who will complete basic engineering and procurement scheduled for completion in February 2004 and construction management and commissioning, to conclude in November 2004. Golder Peru will undertake detailed engineering to be completed by July 2004.
