:: Alcoa Selects EGL for Process Technical Support

The Environmental Group Limited (EGL) has been contracted to join the Alcoa Hatch Engineering alliance to investigate Process Water Treatment solutions to further enhance performance at the Kwinana facility.

The project aimed at improving production efficiencies and minimize water consumption will see EGL provide specialist Water treatment expertise working in conjunction with Alcoa and Hatch on a large scale 'state of the art' pilot project in Kwinana.

This involvement continues the progression of EGL into the environmental water market since securing the PURAC Technology License and the successful transfer to EGL, of PURAC’s Australian expertise in water and wastewater treatment solutions.
