:: LMPE Secured Exclusive License for Flotation Tech Ludowici Mineral Processing Equipment Pty Ltd (LMPE) and Maelgwyn Mineral Services Ltd (MMS) have finalised an exclusive international licensing agreement for MMS's Pneumatic Flotation Process Technology called ImhoflotTM. The license covers Australia, the Asia-Pacific region including China. The technology will be utilized for the recovery of floatable valuable minerals. The latest development of the Imhoflot process – The G-Cell – uses centrifugal forces to accelerate mineral removal from the cell. This has dramatically reduced the size of the separating vessels required compared with conventional technology which results in a much smaller plant size. The G-Cell won an Smart Wales innovation award in 2001 and is covered by worldwide patents. The Imhoflot G-Cell technology has gained rapid acceptance by the industry with orders for process plants and equipment been won in Europe, South Africa, the USA and Russia. In Russia MMS are supplying a large complete 200tph coal flotation plant. Maelgwyn Mineral Services Limited (MMS) is a privately owned limited company established in 1997 and based in Cardiff, Wales, UK.
