:: Outokumpu Expands Australian Service Centre in Response to Record Demand for Skills

A global leader in minerals and metals processing technology, Outokumpu Technology is expanding its Australian Service Centre to provide world-class skills to enhance the efficiency of its customers’ plants.

Outokumpu Technology’s Australian Service Centre is focused on key service areas such as process audits and optimisation, preventative maintenance, upgrades, spare parts management and excellence in training.

Operating from bases in Sydney and Perth with a core of more than 20 specialist staff, the Service Centre has been expanded and structured to provide vital skills at a time of unprecedented demand for them, says the Service Centre’s Manager, Jason King.

"We are investing strongly in the skills and facilities of the Service Centre as many companies are urgently looking to outsource roles previously managed by site. As a global leader in minerals and metals processing, Outokumpu Technology can draw on a wealth of experience and expertise in areas such as thickening, flotation, comminution, analysers, automation and physical separation" says Mr King.

The Australian Service Centre can be contacted in Sydney at (02) 9984 2500 or Perth at (08) 9211 2200.
