:: JKTech Wins Export Award Brisbane-based company, JKTech Pty Ltd, contested an impressive field of Queensland exporters, to be named Winner of The Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards, in the Small to Medium Manufacturer category for 2006. Organised by the Queensland Government and adjudicated by an independent field of industry experts, this award is one of Australia’s most highly regarded exporting awards.
As well as the Australian market, JKTech carries out business activities in more than 28 countries world-wide, with key clients located in the USA, South Africa, China, Chile and Canada. JKTech’s flagship product, the Mineral Liberation Analyser (MLA), is generally recognised as the leader in automated mineralogy with more installations around the world than any other supplier, and with the latest MLA system order from the world’s largest gold producer, Barrick Gold Corporation. Other product offerings from JKTech include consulting services for flotation and comminution; specialist software; training courses; laboratory services (both metallurgical and mineralogical); and equipment supply. As a winner of one the twelve selected categories from each State and Territory Export Awards, JKTech automatically progresses as a national finalist to the 2006 Australian Export Awards. The judging process is currently underway, with winners to be announced in early November.
