:: JKTech Awarded Again for Smart Business

JKTech has again this year been recognised in The Premier of Queensland’s Smart Awards.

The 2007 Awards saw JKTech chosen from a strong field of 18 entrants, to be named one of three finalists in the Small to Medium Manufacturing and Mining category.

This is the third consecutive year in which JKTech has achieved a commendable result in these awards - last year saw JKTech named a finalist in the same category, and the 2005 Awards saw JKTech named Winner of the Mining and Mineral Processing category for its Flotation Optimisation Methodology.

JKTech’s application included their overall range of innovative technology, software and consulting solutions for the international minerals processing market, with a strong focus on recent advances in the company’s flagship product, the Mineral Liberation Analyser (MLA).

These awards reinforce the vital commercialisation role that JKTech plays with the Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC) of UQ’s Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI); and recognise the JK Centre (encompassing both JKMRC and JKTech) for its combined success in innovative research, technology transfer and delivering value to customers.
