:: Eriez Offers Resource Guide for the Coal Processing Industry

Eriez® announces the availability of its “Resource Guide for the Coal Processing Industry” brochure. This helpful guide provides an overview of Eriez’ wide array of products that were developed to assist in the processing of coal.

According to the literature, no other source designs, manufactures and locally supports such a variety of equipment to convey, clean and analyze coal. “Eriez continues to lead the market in specialized coal equipment," says Dan Norrgran, Eriez Heavy Industries Market Manager. “We are truly a one-stop resource," he adds.

The literature highlights Eriez coal processing equipment, including Mechanical Feeders, Heavy Duty Feeders, Conveyors and Screeners, Wet Drum Magnetic Separators, CoalPro™ Column Flotation Cells, CrossFlow® Teeter Bed Separators, Suspended Electromagnets, Bin Vibrators and Metal Detectors.

“Resource Guide for the Coal Processing Industry” also explains that Eriez offers Engineering Services to cover a wide range of functions, assistance and support. Engineering features related to specific equipment and coal processing are as follows:

  • Equipment modifications incorporating specific features and options
  • Equipment layout and dimensional drawings
  • Equipment selection, sizing, material flows and balances
  • In-plant audits to determine production flow rates, material handling aspects, equipment selection and sizing, and predict performance
