:: MiMeMiP First Network Meeting  

The Minerals Industry Research Organisation (MIRO) and the Industrial Centre of Particle Science and Engineering (ICPSE) are holding the first meeting of the EPSRC funded sustainable materials network for the Minerals Industry at the University of Leeds, UK on 14th October 2004.

The Minerals & Metals - Mining & Processing (MiMeMiP) network provides an excellent opportunity for academic and industrial researchers in the mineral and metals sectors to build collaborative research proposals for submission to a ring-fenced research fund of £2m in 2005.

As well as the meetings there will also be regular newsletters and email bulletins - If you have a small article that will outline current research activities / results of your organisation then please forward your details by email to derren.cresswell@miro.co.uk

The second Meeting will be held at the Eden project in Cornwall in early February 2005.
