:: The AuslMM Mineral Industry Operating Technique Award

The award shall be made to a person or team of people responsible for an innovative cost saving or effective mineral industry operating technique developed in Australia or other countries as prescribed in the mineral, mining, metallurgical or petroleum industries. In special circumstances a body corporate may be considered for the award.

The award shall be for an operating technique, which has been proved to be commercially viable, having reference to
(a) cost savings,
(b) efficiency or effectiveness,
(c) project or industry viability.

The nomination date shall be 30 June.

Prescribed countries include the Pacific Rim countries and other areas of influence of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy
