World Mining Congress & EXPO 2011

The Turkish National Committee of the World Mining Congress is privileged to announce the 22. WORLD MINING CONGRESS & EXPO 2011, which will be organized in Istanbul between 11-16 September 2011.

This is the second time that Turkey has been given the honour to organize the World Mining Congress & Expo, the first one was held in Istanbul in 1979.

General theme of the Congress is “Innovations and Challenges in Mining” which will allow a wide diversity of topics on mining to be discussed in concurrent sessions.

The Congress and Expo will be an outstanding opportunity for the participants to share their experience as well as provide them the chance to make new contacts and establish business relationship.

As the host of such a challenging and prestigious organization, we; as Organizers of this Congress, await the participation of mining institution members, miners, academic and technical persons involved in Mining Sector.
