:: Gekko Operators and Maintenance Course - A New Look For Africa  

Gekko's operation and maintenance training courses for new and prospective customers will take on a more specialised format when they move to Johannesburg in August.

In response to customer feedback from the Perth course in October 2002 and the Ballarat course last February, the Johannesburg course will be split into three specific categories for gold, diamonds, and 'other'.

The courses are a valuable opportunity for consultants, engineers, site metallurgists and operators to not only become familiar with the equipment, but to also spend time with members of Gekko's development team and gain a deeper understanding of the equipment's capabilities.

The success of the first training courses may now lead to the creation of an email user-group through which customers and the technical support team can exchange experiences and other practical information.
