Outokumpu's research and development efforts bring forth new gravity solutions for mineral processors. The Carpco® H9000W is able to greatly enhance separation on finely sized particles. The first industrial minerals application for the recently developed Carpco wash water spiral is scheduled for commissioning later this spring.

New Carpco Wash Water Spiral

This new spiral, designated Carpco H9000W, has been introduced after more than two successful years of trial testing in different mineral applications. The unit is a seven-turn, wear-resistant polyurethane fiberglass constructed helix, designed for separating high concentrations of heavy minerals, requiring supplementary wash water to remove gangue.
