:: Knelson's e-Workshop: The Upgrading of Primary Gold Gravity Concentrates  

In e-Workshop #4 Knelson leads you through a technical paper on "The Upgrading of Primary Gold Gravity Concentrates". This paper reviews flowsheets that are generally used in gold rooms to upgrade primary gravity concentrates. Experimental data is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of a small Knelson Concentrator to scavenge significant amounts of gold (up to 91%) from the fine table tails. While this paper focusses on the process of tabling as a means of upgrading gold gravity concentrates, other methods used such as the use of the new ConSep ACACIA Reactor, will be discussed in a future edition of the e-Workshop.
