In an article in the January 2004 issue of Industrial Minerals (pps. 62-64), Doug Corsan, of Knelson Concentrators, shows how the development of new mineral concentration systems, such as the continuous variable discharge concentrator, has spread the use of the technology outside the traditional fields of high specific gravity metals separation, and into the non-metallic minerals industry.
