4th International Conference on Ion Exchange (ICIE’07)
Chiba, Japan

This conference held in Chiba, Japan and organised by the Japanese Association of Ion Exchange was very successful and attracted delegates mainly from Japan. It is very encouraging to see that Japan still has a very strong research base in this technology. Many of the contributions to this conference (88 papers) have been published in the Journal of Ion Exchange (Japan), Volume 18(4) October 2007. At this conference the venue for the 5th International Conference on Ion Exchange to be held in 2010 was announced as Melbourne, Australia
