We are currently working with a successful gold producer in QLD who have an array of profitable opportunities and are destined for even more success in the very near future.

One of their more profitable joint venture operations in North Queensland has undergone some recent growth. Due to this there is an immediate need for a Treatment Plant Manager.

Your main responsibility on site will be to lead and manage the treatment plant team. Preparing the budgets and managing costs will also be integral to the role. You are required to be safety and maintenance driven and a positive mentor to the team.

You will need to have a tertiary qualification in metallurgy or similar qualification. This role requires at least 10 years experience predominantly in gold plants on operational mine sites. You must have demonstrated experience in budgets and cost controls for the plant environment. People management skills will be highly regarded.

The role offers a flexible option of residential in the local township or a lifestyle friendly roster. The site is only a few hours from Townsville so this arrangement is conducive to those in the surrounding region.
