Our client is a leader in the design, construction, operations and maintenance of CHPPs in the Queensland mining industry. Due to significant growth they are currently seeking applications from experienced professionals to manage one of their CHPP in Central Queensland.

As the CHPP Manager you will be reporting to the regional Operations Manager and will be supported from the head office. You will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance and production functions of the plant to ensure maximum productivity. Your specific duties and responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring a safe working environment at all times
• Achieving production targets within budget
• Providing leadership to personnel within the plant

The successful candidate will possess a solid background within production or maintenance of Coal Processing facilities. Engineering qualifications are not essential yet preferred. More important is your demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work to develop and work to budgets.
