Product Manager and Process Engineer  [Jan.22, 2010]

Inter-Consulting is looking for 2 consultants : one Product Manager and one Process Engineer.

PRODUCT MANAGER

The Product Manager position will involve product and process support for our Solid / Liquid Separation equipment range. You will be working together with our international customers in the mining and mineral industry, providing internal technical support and application assistance.

Involvement in tendering processes and taking part in discussions, presentations and problem solving activities with our customers will be required. Metso operates globally and the job requires frequent travel to visit customers.

YOUR PROFILE

You will have a university degree in mechanical or mining engineering or equivalent and an understanding of Solid Liquid Separation processes. Commercial and technical experience obtained at companies that manufacture equipment for mineral processing will be an asset. Knowledge about mineral processing and in particular wet processing will be an advantage. Candidates should be fluent in the English language, business oriented and service minded. The ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure will be required

PROCESS ENGINEER

The Process Engineer position will involve process and application support for single equipment and integrated process systems. The main task will be to support the sales organization with technological solutions and also working together with our international customers in the mining and mineral industry, providing process knowledge and application assistance.

You will be involved in tendering processes, responsible for the design of process systems and preparation of flow sheets and mass balances for complete beneficiation plants, etc. Participation in discussions, presentations and problem solving activities together with our customers will also be required. Metso operates globally and this position requires frequent travel to visit customers.

YOUR PROFILE

• You will have a university degree in mining engineering or equivalent.
• This position requires a good knowledge in mineral separation technologies, in particularly wet processing.
• Experience of minerals separation plant operations will be an asset.
• Candidates should be fluent in the English language, business oriented and service minded.
• The ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure will be required.
