Process Technician [Feb.11, 2010] Location: Mt. Mt Keith Operation is located 460 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in the Northern Goldfields. Mt Keith Operation is a surface mining operation with an open pit and concentrator plant. The operation is surrounded by pastoral stations, with the nearest townships being Leinster and Wiluna. There’s plenty to keep you entertained in the Mt Keith Village. Take the heat off the day and head to the pool – or join in a game of footy. BBQ dinners are regularly held and other social activities include live bands and movie nights. Employees commute to and from Perth on a fly in / fly out 8/6 roster with the flight in a jet aircraft taking just over one hour. We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Process Technician to join the team at our Mount Keith Operation – excellent remuneration, benefits and roster on offer. Purpose The role of Process Technician is responsible for the day to day operation of the concentrator including measurement of key variables associated with production. Requirements As a clear communicator you will have the ability to influence others to drive positive outcomes for the business. Ideally you will have previous experience in a large-scale mineral processing plant with exposure to SAG/Ball Mills, flotation circuits, thickeners and pressure filters. Mechanically minded candidates who display good problem solving, analytical, planing and organisational skills will also be considered A copy of all current qualifications must be provided at the time of interview Nickel West aspires to Zero Harm, to people, the environment and the community.
