Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist, the Metallurgical Technician will provide technical support to metalliferous processing by conducting/reporting metallurgical testwork on a regular basis as directed.

Other key accountabilities will also include:

• Carrying out routine diagnostic testwork to assist with tracking and troubleshooting plant performance.
• Assisting with maintaining calibration of the online instrumentation (OSA and PSI).
• Providing troubleshooting support to operations and maintenance on issues with OSA and PSI operation.
• Supporting metallurgical reporting / accounting requirements.
• Performing metallurgical data entry as required.
• Managing the operation of the metallurgical laboratory as directed by the Metallurgy Superintendent.

The incumbent we are seeking must:-

• Be an enthusiastic, self-starter who is interested in working in a busy and fast paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and most importantly a willingness to develop in the role.
• Have proven experience in Microsoft Office.
• Remote FIFO Site experience is preferred but not essential
