The Credo Group is a leading provider of workforce mobilisation solutions to the Mining Sector.

One of our blue chip clients located in the Northern Suburbs is about to embark on a major sampling project for a 7 - 10 week period beginning in late February.

As a result of this we are currently looking for Technicians to operate a small but complex uranium pilot plant. The role is a hands on role monitoring the performance of a continuous leach operation and performing the following duties:

• Measure process variables such as pH and electro-conductivity and record results accurately
• Adjust flow rates through leach tanks as directed by altering pump settings
• Effect minor repairs to pumps and pipe lines
• Control flows in and out of thickening circuits by measuring % solids and adjusting flow rates
• Operate a small grinding mill to pre set parameters
• Clean up spillages
• Extract samples at regular intervals for analysis
• Monitor mechanical performance and report any deterioration in component performance

To be successful in one of these roles you will possess the following:

• Metallurgical experience
• Some basic mechanical knowledge
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work 12 hour shifts
• A strong safety sense and are not worried about getting dirty

You will be available to begin work in late February and be willing to commit to the full sampling program of 7 - 10 weeks.
