Process Engineer - Design  [Feb.17, 2010]

Process Engineer required to lead the process engineering design of new capital projects, working with the managing contractor on UK and International projects. The role will involve leading the technical development of the front end engineering design package so that this can be used by a managing contractor to accurately estimate costs and carry out the planning, detailed design and construction of a future plant at a specific location. A degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering, together with significant experience of process plant design and commissioning. Experience with metallurgical simulation software (e.g. METSIM) would be an advantage and also experience with PLC/SCADA based control systems (Siemens, Alan Bradley) would be desirable. The successful candidate will be required to support the development of a range of opportunities in the UK and overseas and therefore requires a high degree of flexibility.
