The Carlota Copper Company has an immediate opening at its mining operation located in the Globe/Miami, Arizona mining district, 6 miles west of Miami, AZ off US Highway 60. Carlota is an open pit mining, heap leach, and SX/EW operation producing cathode copper. We offer outstanding opportunities for individuals seeking a challenging and rewarding work environment.

Candidates should have a BS degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years experience in copper heap leach processes. Applicants must be flexible and take on a variety of functions including metallurgical testing programs, materials selection, capital project justification process control support, inventory control, supervision of metallurgical laboratory personnel and production evaluations. The candidate must understand that safe practices and environmental stewardship are a condition of employment. Strong supervisory skills are important as well as excellent oral, written communication and computer skills.
