Location: Australia

Our client is one of regions leading mining companies, with a portfolio of both domestic and international operating mines and development projects.

An excellent opportunity now exists for an individual to lead the processing team at one of their gold operations - a site which boasts variety in terms of complex Metallurgy and technical challenges.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will take the helm of a department moving into a very exciting phase of this projects ongoing development.

In essence, the role will be responsible for:

  • Strong commitment to health and safety of all staff;
  • Optimum Metallurgical performance;
  • Maintaining availability of plant and equipment;
  • Keeping treatment costs controlled and minimized;
  • Efficient operation of the laboratory facility;
  • Ensuring all statutory requirements associated with the operation are complied with thorough effective education and supervision of personnel; and
  • Achieving a positive and productive employee relations environment.

It is expected candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor of Mineral Processing or equivalent;
  • 10 years post graduate experience;
  • A minimum of 3 years experience at Superintendent level;
  • Flotation and dewatering experience; and
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
