Process Control Engineer  [Feb.19, 2010]

Location: Kalgoorlie, Australia

A dynamic role currently exists with a major mining owner/operator based at one of their sites in beautiful Kalgoorlie.

The role, reporting to the Production Superintendent, is responsible for the following key day to day duties:

• Review and maintain the Process Control Systems to ensure that availability is optimised
• Modify and improve Process Control Systems and maintain the communication network for the air quality systems
• Respond to call outs for breakdowns in a timely manner where downtime will be affected by the time taken to resolve the issue.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 2 years experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualifications in a a relevant field
• Relevant knowledge and demonstrable ability of key elements and tasks of the role

The salary package on offer will be in the vicinity of $120k + allowance + superannuation. Salaries outside this range will be considered for exceptional candidates.
