Process Superintendent  [Feb.22, 2010]

Location: Winnemucca, NV, USA

Employees in this position are responsible for the functions of the milling facilities. Must be familier with grinding, Cu flotation, CIP, leach, and gravity concentration. Employees must comply with state and federal safety and health regulations, company policies and procedures, and the company's environmental compliance policy. Employees will perform other duties as directed and needed by the company to ensure optimal safe operation. Supervising 40 employees.

The employee must be able to:

• Achieve production targets.
• Perform budget and cost control.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal laws.
• Directly supervise the General Process Foremen and Process Metallurgists.
• Assume indirect responsibility for other support departments such as process maintenance, plant metallurgy and operational services groups.
• Conduct staff and safety meetings.
• Comment on plant design, production, and process, then initiate changes.
• Report on department status.
• Set and maintain metallurgical operations standards.

Requisite or (Desired) Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent field preferred.
• 6-10 years experience in a milling/processing environment with supervisory experience.
