Location: QLD, Australia

Wolfram Camp Mining Limited has an opening for a Senior Metallurgist. The role will be aimed at monitoring and improving the metallurgical and operational performance of the company’s tungsten/molybdenum processing facility in Far North QLD.

Reporting to the Process Manager, you will work closely with production and maintenance personnel, including geology and chemist to achieve production targets and maintain site standards for HSE.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Provision of technical input into the operation of the plant to ensure budget and forecast production targets and costs are achieved
• Ensuring innovation and continuous improvement of the operation, including completion of key projects
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly metallurgical accounting and production planning as required

Experience, Qualifications:

• Degree qualified metallurgist or process engineer
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in Flotation and Gravity
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities

You will also require a strong desire to succeed, with a demonstrated commitment to safety and teamwork.

An attractive salary and roster is offered with a preference to residential candidates on the Tablelands. FIFO roster will also be considered.
