Located in northwest Queensland, our operation boasts an underground mine and processing mill situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville, and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville. POSITION SYNOPSIS

This key leadership role will provide processing management and technical support for the expansion of the Cannington Mine processing facilities. The position is also responsible for leading change and improving the safety and financial performance of the Processing, Transport and Logistics functions moving into an expanded operation. This will include but is not limited to:

  • Leadership and coordination of process planning & execution through all phases of the project;
  • Coordinate maintenance critical path analysis of an expanded plant;
  • Liaise with Mine Operations regarding new construction works and future scheduling; and,
  • Coordination of relevant internal and external technical resources to ensure project targets are met.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

You will be degree qualified in Metallurgy, Chemistry or similar and possess extensive leadership experience in a metalliferous processing environment. Your contractor management abilities combined with an emphasis on fostering creativity and innovation within your project team will be highly regarded.

You will have a dedication to safety and a willingness to lead safety initiatives. Your strong work ethic, combined with your ability to lead by example will be respected by our dedicated team.
