Client side role with major operator

Our client is a major mining operator with significant mining interests in the gold and base metals sector.

The role will see you providing troubleshooting and debottlenecking advice to operational staff whilst also leading longer term resource development projects with the aid of the internal technical team. Your mix of experience between operations and projects will be crucial as you play a leading role in making significant group process improvements across the wider business.

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified Metallurgist or equivalent.
• 15 + years experience in mining industry.
• Exposure to copper smelting is essential along with broader pyrometallurgy and minerals processing skills.
• You will have experience in both operational and project management roles.
