Location: QLD, Australia

Our client has a number of unique projects in Queensland and NSW and requires the services of an enthusiastic Process Engineer for their Brisbane operations. This role offers the opportunity for a chemical engineer or metallurgist to build a new skill set and be mentored by industry leaders.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone at the start of their career to get established and learn from the best in the business.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Providing technical support to operational personnel and senior staff to optimise plant performance
• Producing daily, weekly and monthly plant performance reports
• Meeting quality, production and maintenance targets
• Maintaining costs within budget forecasts
• Achieving a high level of safety and environmental standards

The ideal candidate will have:

• a tertiary qualification in chemical engineering or a related discipline
• strong analytical and problem solving skills
• 1-2 years experience in minerals processing or a related industry
• the drive to learn and succeed
