Chemical / Process Engineer  [Apr.2, 2008]

Our client is a leader in minerals processing and product development. They are seeking the services of a Chemical Engineer or Process Engineer to assist them in maintaining high standards of production on site. This is a challenging role for someone with strong technical knowledge but also the practicality to apply this to the plant and operate as an effective team member.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide technical advice to ensure production in the plant is optimized through applying your understanding of process flow and trouble shooting techniques. You skill base will be extended through management of short and long term projects and you will be consistently challenged by the variety in your work.

You will ideally have tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline and experience in minerals processing, chemical processing or similar environments. Experience with HAZOPs will be well regarded.
