Job Details:

A degree in mineral processing, metallurgy or chemical engineering, with extensive experience in the industrial minerals or metallurgical sectors of the mining industry. Experience with metallurgical simulation software (e.g. METSIM) would be an advantage, also experience with PLC/SCADA based control systems (Siemens, Alan Bradley) would be an advantage, although training will be provided. The duties and responsibilities will include the operation and monitoring of the Demonstration Plant to optimise performance, including the control system and process equipment; Data recording and logging; Supervision of the Process Engineers and Technicians etc. Based at the office in south west England, with visits to the Company’s project sites. Future projects may involve travel to sites in Europe, North America and Asia. Salary to be advised.
