Allegiance Mining is an emerging Australian nickel mining company that is about to commission its first nickel project located in Tasmania. Its Avebury nickel project is due to start production shortly, and the company has an on-going exploration effort targeting nickel sulphide deposits.

Reporting to the General Manager, a rare opportunity has presented for a high caliber Mineral Processing Professional to take the reigns of the Processing and Maintenance departments, at an exciting stage of the project’s development.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring production plans are established, maintained and met in accordance with the organisation’s business goals and objectives, formulating production strategies to enhance the performance of all areas of the concentrator and play a significant role in the ongoing development of a team of high calibre individuals across both the Processing and Maintenance functions.

Applicants for this role should be formally qualified with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience, preferably in development and operations. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in flotation processes (preferably Ni) and be able to demonstrate success in the commissioning and optimisation of new operations.
