As the Principal Project Engineer, you will have responsibility for the engineering of the processing and surface infrastructure which includes the concentrator, concentrate handling facilities, power, water and tailings, as well as the Engineering of the mining equipment and infrastructure to include mobile equipment, workshop, dewatering and power reticulation. You will also schedule cost estimates, whilst managing multi-disciplinary consultants and contractors, as well as establishing engineering systems to satisfy the Investment Standard appropriate to the phases of development. Assisting with the establishment of the processing and surface infrastructure engineering scope, which will in turn satisfy the requirements of the Capital Investment Standard appropriate to the phase of development, and planning and monitoring of the Project Execution Plan (PEP). This will lead to achieving the required underground infrastructure engineering, risk and economic performance requirements.

Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified, but focus will be on having appropriate levels of relevant experience, including extensive processing and surface infrastructure design, planning, risk and option evaluation. Experience in study and/or project management and business evaluation, with previous extensive experience in project financial evaluation are vital, as is some knowledge of general mining and processing. You will require strong leadership abilities!!
