Think Opportunity

As a key member of the Metallurgy Department, your primary role will be to operate various sections of the process plant in an efficient manner whilst always driving an overriding commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.

You will be accountable for your performance and that of your area of work, helping to ensure that all production targets are met and that plant downtime is of a minimum.

Think Purpose

Reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, the Process Technician is responsible for the day to day operation of the Concentrator and measuring key variables associated with production, whilst ensuring that all tasks are carried out according to Nickel West standards and procedures at Mt Keith.

Think Requirements

We are seeking self motivated applicants with strong knowledge and experience gained in the mineral process industry with SAG and Ball grinding mills, Flotation circuits, Pressure filters and Thickeners.

Strong planning, organisational, problem solving and analytical skills, as well as strong communication skills, both oral and written, will be attributes of the successful applicant.

The possession of a best practice safety culture and the ability to operate in a close knit team environment are essential.

Applicants possessing core competency tickets in mineral processing and mobile equipment, along with genuine Control Room experience will be highly regarded.
