Plutonic Gold Mine is located approximately 1000km north-east of Perth and is one of Australia’s largest producer’s of gold. We currently produce 216 000 ounces each year from our underground operations. Reserves currently stand at 2.4 million ounces. Position Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated Laboratory Supervisor to join our Processing team at the Plutonic Gold Mine. Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist the successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision of Laboratory Technicians and the day to day safety and efficiency of the site laboratory. The Plutonic laboratory utilises 2 digestion techniques: 1. Aqua-Regia with DIBK finish Analysis for both techniques is performed using AAS. Specific experience in the use of these digestion and analytical techniques and gold metallurgical test work experience will be highly regarded. Principle duties include, but are not limited to:
