Ausenco’s Minerals & Metals business offers services covering all facets of the project life cycle from scoping and feasibility studies, through to project delivery and brown field plant upgrades. Our commissioning services ensure a smooth handover to client operations. From the most effective design, through construction and to commissioning, our business and passion is exceptional project delivery of mineral processing plants.

Due to a number of new and exciting opportunities, we are seeking a Project Engineering Manager to be based on site and coordinate the design/engineering and field construction teams. There is also coordination required between Ausenco offices and subcontract design offices.

Leadership and development of capability within the engineering team is a key requirement of this role. As such an ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Ausenco systems and procedures and a willingness to impart this knowledge in a proactive and supportive manner is required.

In order to be successful in this role you will have:

  • A strong background in design and construction engineering
  • Specific experience in minerals processing plant construction projects
  • Proven ability to work at altitude
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary office
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills
  • English and Spanish language skills would be advantageous
