:: Improved Environment and Product Quality with Sandvik Telescopic Chute

Stockpiling, the final stage of dry bulk material handling, is optimized thanks to Sandvik telescopic chute WE8000i. Indeed the WE8000i minimizes dust emissions in the the working environment and surrounding area, as well as reduces stock pile segregation. Together with other equipment available, it forms a complete family of eco-friendly products reducing noise and dust emissions in the material handling process. Some of its outstanding features include:

  • Flexible operation - The chute may be equipped with a “PLC” for fully automatic operation, or can be operated from the control cabin.
  • Full control - an ultrasonic level sensor adjusts the level of the cone segments, ensuring an optimum distance to the stockpile. As a number of cone segments make up the chute, the pressure inside the chute prevents dust from leaving.
  • Hard wearing - the telescopic chute is constructed in wear resistant polyurethane, giving long product wear life, and service intervals.
  • Variety of uses - the telescopic chute is suitable for a number of applications such as solid fuels, quarries, mining, harbours, cement, pulp paper, and recycling industry.

The telescopic chute has been developed to ensure a better working environment, an increased product quality, a reduced stock pile segregation as well as decreased operational costs, clean-up costs and production losses; overall, it leads to improved operational profitability.
